Call for Graduate Student Steering Committee Members

CIRCLE is seeking two (2) graduate student representatives to join its Steering Committee for a duration of 2 years, with the possibility of renewal for an additional term. The Steering Committee advises and oversees the programmatic aspects of CIRCLE (more details below) and meets once in a term. Seeking Science Researchers for CIRCLE Webinars

CIRCLE is seeking researchers to participate in our webinar series. Any graduate students or faculty members undertaking research related to South Asia, India, or the South Asian and/or Indian diasporas are encouraged to contact us. Emphasis will be given to those in the College of Biological Sciences, Engineering & Physical Sciences, Ontario Agricultural College, or Ontario Veterinary College.

Seeking Research Participants: The Impact of Social Networks on Work-Life Choices of South Asian Women in Canada

This doctoral research study is conducted by Anju Philip, PhD Candidate from the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph.

We are seeking participants for a two-part study investigating the meaning of work-life balance to currently or previously employed South Asian women living in Canada. This study also seeks to explore the personal networks that South Asian women belong to, and to what extent these networks impact their diverse choices surrounding work and life.

CIRCLE e-Pals

We are seeking SIX curious, engaged undergraduate students at the University of Guelph to participate in a pilot virtual connection activity with students at Indian universities in 2022–23.
