Currently I am pursuing these projects:
1. A study of recent cinematic practices in the Malayalam film industry, focusing on the ideological and aesthetic shifts.
2. The description of popular political terms in Kerala in an attempt to construct an intellectual history from a vernacularist point of view.
3. Looking at broader concerns around the relationship between language and democracy in India informed by the political consequences (border-crossing/identity-shifting) of the notion of translation.
4. A monograph on the Left-wing theatre group Kerala People's Arts Club.
I have been part of a conference as a paper presenter that was organized by CIRCLE. Looking forward to future events and collaborations.
