My research focuses on Public Policy, Governance, and Women Empowerment, particularly in the areas of gender justice, social inclusion, and grassroots governance. I collaborate with Dr. Rajbans Singh Gill and Dr. Balraj Singh Brar on interdisciplinary projects addressing socially relevant policy issues.
My research engages with India and South Asia through the lenses of Public Policy, Governance, and Women Empowerment, with a particular focus on gender justice, social inclusion, and grassroots governance in Punjab. I also explore broader socio-political dynamics within South Asia and the South Asian diaspora, examining how policy, identity, and empowerment intersect to shape development, equity, and civic participation across regions.
I am keen to engage with CIRCLE to foster collaborative research and dialogue on Public Policy, Governance, and Women Empowerment between Canada and India. My work on gender justice, social inclusion, and grassroots governance aligns with CIRCLE’s vision of advancing cross-cultural understanding. I seek to contribute to interdisciplinary projects, academic exchanges, and policy debates that strengthen ties between India, South Asia, and the diaspora communities.
