My work centers around the various aspects of Youth Studies like Financial Literacy among the Youth in Northeast India, The Need for a Separate Youth Mental Health Policy in India, Community Health the Youth. In research on the above issues, I have engage with quantitative methodologies through survey questionnaires and presented my findings on Financial Literacy among the Youth in Northeast India at the International Conference on Sustainability, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in North East India, Miranda House College, University of Delhi, and the G20 – Y20 National Conference on "Future of work in Amrit Kaal in India: The Demographic Dividend & 21st Century Skills", The Centre for Public Policy and Governance, Institute of Social Sciences and was awarded best paper in both.

I first came across CIRCLE during Dr. Srinivasan’s course on Introduction to Research Methodologies in which we were introduced to the Centre, its work and one of the projects currently being undertaken at the Centre on the mental health of South Asian students in the University of Guelph. It is here that I became increasingly interested in CIRCLE’s work. Its inclusion of studies on the Youth - an area I have worked on and am interested in - became my pivot vis-a-vis the Centre. Given my experience and interest in researching youth mental health, especially its intersectional nature, makes me confident of the Centre and my interests converging successfully.
