Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, India
My research is dedicated to advancing sustainable agro-food systems through an interdisciplinary approach, focusing on the development of bio-based materials and sustainable technologies. A key aspect involves transforming agro-industrial byproducts into value-added materials, upholding the philosophy that 'NOTHING IS WASTE' and fostering a circular economy. Concurrently, I am applying nanofood engineering and artificial intelligence strategies to address global malnutrition challenges.
Joining CIRCLE would allow me to actively participate in and enrich its interdisciplinary dialogue on sustainability and social well-being. My research, which spans agro-food systems, circular bioeconomy, and biobased materials, provides a strong foundation for contributing to key areas within CIRCLE. I am especially motivated by CIRCLE's unique focus on equitable and respectful exchange between Canadian and Indian scholars. This aligns perfectly with my drive to foster collaborative, transnational research, specifically in repurposing agro-industrial waste into sustainable solutions, and I believe my work can significantly advance these shared goals within the CIRCLE community.
