I am pursuing a BAS degree, with specializations in Sociology and Geomatics. I am still exploring my research focus, but I am passionate about interdisciplinary approaches to research and how art can serve as a platform for critical inquiry into value, perception, and consciousness. In particular, I am interested in the power of storytelling and its vital role in shaping our everyday experiences and perceptions–particularly in the ways in which they influence our understanding of identity and culture (such as those within the South Asian diaspora).

I work closely with the Director and the Steering Committee of CIRCLE as the Facilitator to advance CIRCLE's activities through its core program areas. As well, I support the curation of CIRCLE events, profiles, and encounter posts that highlight the work of scholars and foster meaningful experiences. As a first-generation Canadian with cultural ties to Punjab, I am a passionate advocate about CIRCLE's ability to go beyond stereotypes and generate curiosity about India and its vast diaspora in Canada.
