Anisha Mahajan

I am an Assistant Professor in the Nutrition Division at the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, University of Saskatchewan. I have been a Registered Dietitian with over 15 years of experience in healthcare and worked as a Certified Diabetes Educator for 8 years in Ontario. I completed my PhD in Human Health Sciences at the University of Guelph, where I investigated sugar and non-nutritive sweetener intake in young children. My postdoctoral research at Ontario Tech University and the University of Guelph focused on paid partnership disclosures by dietitians on social media and sodium intake in young children. I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto and a BASc in Nutrition and Food from Toronto Metropolitan University. My dietetic training included placements with ARAMARK Canada Ltd.
Through my involvement in CIRCLE, I hope to foster collaborations and remain up to date with current research for the South Asian Diaspora. I would like to also participate and engage in conferences and the webinars hosted by CIRCLE.
