New Publication: Women in Contemporary Indian Films and Media: Representations and Responses

Aysha Iqbal Viswamohan (Professor, Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at IIT Madras) is the editor of Women in Contemporary Indian Films and Media: Representations and Responses (Routledge India). The book is based on the Towards New Visions: Women in Films, Media and Beyond Virtual Conference, hosted by CIRCLE in 2021 and sponsored by Shastri Indo‐Canadian Institute’s Golden Jubilee Conference and Lecture Series Grant (GJCLSG). The event was co-organized by Aysha Iqbal Viswamohan (IIT Madras) and Sharada Srinivasan (U of G), CIRCLE's inaugural director. The book is available now!
