Beside being an Indian immigrant myself, I have always been fascinated by the unique experiences of immigrants in Canada. Therefore as my PhD thesis, I chose to focus on the experiences of first generation immigrants (south-Asian included) and their connection to ethnic food and clothing products in Canada. How the availability and accessibility of these products matters to them, how they affect them.

I am eager to collaborate with CIRCLE to deepen my engagement with the South Asian immigrant community in Canada. As my research and identity align with CIRCLE's community and mission, becoming a member at the center will enhance my work's academic and practical impact.
I look forward to contributing to the center’s initiatives while benefiting from the support of CIRCLE'S strong South Asian community!
