I am a researcher and a working professional who submitted my PhD thesis which is on the implications of maternal caregiving of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in Kerala, South India. In the study, I have focused on the marital satisfaction, well-being, support network, personal enrichment, and social participation of the mothers as a result of caregiving their child with autism.
I would like to be a member of CIRCLE as this community is actively involved in meaningful deliberations on research with a focus on South Asia. This platform has given me an opportunity to present a paper on my research area, and I believe such opportunities would provide exposure to the researchers and give them valuable insights.
