MoU between U of Guelph and MS Swaminathan Research Foundation to strengthen the research collaborations

In a move to further strengthen the research collaborations between the University of Guelph, Canada, and the MS Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), India, an MoU was signed by Prof. Shayan Sharif, Vice President Research, University of Guelph, and Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, Chair, MSSRF, on October 14, 2025. 

University of Guelph and MSSRF already have active research collaborations which were initiated by the previous CIRCLE Director, Prof. Sharada Srinivasan, and now enthusiastically led by the current CIRCLE Director, Dr. Guneet Kaur. This MoU will serve to expand the collaborations between the two organizations in areas of mutual interest such as antimicrobial resistance, global policy, and sustainable agriculture, and social welfare, collectively called as One Health.
