Successful PhD Defence by Josie Wittmer

Josie Wittmer successfully defended her PhD dissertation, "Women's work in the 'clean city': Perspectives on wellbeing, waste governance, and inclusion from the urban margins in Ahmedabad India," on December 15, 2020.

Josie is graduating from the University of Guelph's collaborative program in Geography, Environment & Geomatics and International Development Studies where she was working under the advisement of Dr. Kate Parizeau (as part of the Social Life of Waste research group) and committee members, Dr. Sharada Srinivasan and Roberta Hawkins.

Defense examiners were Dr. René Véron (Université de Lausanne) and Dr. Karine Gagné (University of Guelph).
