Working with CIRCLE marks an important step in my writing journey. As a student writer, I’m eager to refine my skills and become a more versatile communicator. Through this role, I can share stories highlighting various South Asian perspectives, broadening my worldview while providing meaningful content for a wider audience. CIRCLE’s commitment to research excellence and impactful storytelling aligns with my goals of creating engaging, culturally rich narratives.

As an Indian who grew up outside of her native country, I'm fascinated by how South Asian communities adapt outside of their home countries. My research interests lie in the cultural identities and everyday lives of the South Asian diaspora—how they combine heritage with new surroundings, maintain traditions, and redefine themselves across generations. I’m particularly interested in the role of art, language, and family ties in shaping identity, as well as the impact of migration on their communities abroad and back home.
