Indian, immigrant first-time parent's voices on the experiences of fathering and fatherhood during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period in Canada: a Straussian Grounded Theory approach - Analysis using Intersectional lens.

My name is Josephine, and I have a research background and strong linguistic abilities, which I believe will allow me to provide valuable insights and solutions to the challenges faced by Indian immigrant families residing in Canada during the perinatal phase ( pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum) of parenthood. I believe it is essential to prioritize the mental health of fathers, as key allies and supporters of both mothers and infants for their overall well-being, and my contributions will be especially beneficial in a cross-cultural setting. My utmost interest is to join CIRCLE and conduct research on challenges and solutions faced by South Asian and Indian diasporas.
