My PhD dissertation focuses on the purportedly disparate impact of gender-neutral Indian matrimonial laws on women with invisible disabilities, such as epilepsy, depression, and neurodiversity. It further examines the social, cultural, religious, and economic factors that render these laws ineffective for the protection of the rights of disabled women.
