DNA Barcoding for species discovery, species interactions, biomonitoring of populations though space and time. I sort out the insects that are collected in traps that then get sequenced and uploaded to the Barcode of Life Database (BOLD).
I am planning on pursuing a Master's in Wildlife Biology and Conservation at the National Centre for Biological Sciences in Bangalore after visiting there on an entomology field course where I got to participate in natural history research of a little known fly. I would love to understand and engage more with the research and scientific community of the region.
