One of the many challenges of CETL is ensuring rigour while training students in both applying research methods and the principles of CES. The speaker will outline both qualitative research design and pedagogical strategies tried over the years, mainly in teaching a large 12-week long qualitative methods course where students conduct research addressing community-identified priorities in collaborative research teams.

Presented by: Canada India Research Centre for Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE) & Community Engaged Scholarship Institute (CESI)
